Need a Simpsons Reviewer
Hi folks, I'll be up front with you. I have a TV website, TheTwoCents.com, we are a place to TV Reviews, News and Interviews. I am looking for someone to recap The Simpsons for the site. Now, I don't mean to ruffle any feathers and I don't want to steal away anyone who recaps for this community. I think that should stay right here where it is. But if someone out there would also like to write for us, please just let me know at TVReviewers@TheTwoCents.com If not, that's cool too. Just putting it out there. I'm sorry in advance if anyone is annoyed at this post and I hope you realize it's all for the love of TV that we share. KP TheTwoCents.com |

Looking for Simpsons SUPERFAN who LOVES to write!
Hi folks, My name is KP and I'm the Head Writer for TheTwoCents.com. It's a TV site that I started just over a year ago. I'm just a normal guy with a real job, but I LOVE TV. I tried to keep up with my favorite TV shows on my own, but just couldn't do it on the site. SO - I'm looking for other fans of my favorite shows to volunteer to do weekly recaps / reviews, in your own style, for our site. We have a bunch of staff writers but we don't have anyone for The Simpsons. TheTwoCents.com was created for people to share their own TwoCents on reviews/recaps that we write and it is starting to take off. We're going to an all new format in the next few weeks, so it's very exciting times around here. Are you in? If you're at all interested, please email me at kp@thetwocents.com or let me know by visiting TheTwoCents.com and using the Email button. I'd love to hear from you. If not - enjoy the the new season!!! -KP |

D'oh! Nuts!
Lisa: What a perfect outing for a beautiful autumn day. Marge: I feel sorry for everyone who's cooped up inside watching the seventh game of the World Series. Homer: [mocking] Yeah, they won't learn anything about apples today. Man, I was looking forward to the Halloween special, but the World Series is on. I hate when the Halloween show is on after Halloween! |

song from Today, I am a Clown
In "Today, I am a Clown," what was the name of the song playing while Homer takes Santa's Little Helper to the strip club/hooker? |

John Mahoney on the Simpsons
This is coming from wikipedia, so not quite sure on its accuracy: "John Mahoney is also guest starring in an episode of The Simpsons as the father of Sideshow Bob played by Kelsey Grammer and Cecil Terwilliger played by David Hyde Pierce who also starred in Frasier with Mahoney." If for some reason you haven't a clue of what I speak, John Mahoney played the father of Frasier (played by Kelsey Grammer) and Niles (Pierce) on...Frasier. credit to gossfather as well. |

I found the Kwik-E mart
Posted this on my LJ.. thought you might enjoy it over here... Oh.. I am geeking out over this... Convenience Stores get 'Simpson' fever Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart?</p> Not just Apu -- but you, according to 7-Eleven As a promotion for the upcoming "The Simpsons" movie, 7-Eleven converted 11 of their U.S. stores into "Kwik-E-Marts," after the fictional Springfield convenience store run by Indian immigrant Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. (click link for rest of article)
In anticipation of the "Simpson's Movie" released this month, 7-11 converted 12 stores to Kwik-E Marts and they are selling some very Simpson products.
Seattle was lucky enough to get one of this transformations.. and I am lucky enough to live a only 3 blocks from the store. With no hard drive and neededing to get some fresh air.. and because I am such a fangirl.. I grabbed my camera and went to take photos.
The store was really busy, and I got a 6 pack of Buzz soda and a Bart cookie. I did not see any Krusty O's (sans the metal Krusty o) or the Radioactive Man comic book ( I will go back) but people were really friendly and tons of people were taking pictures.
Below the cut is my pic spam (there is lots of it) and a few of my favorite Simpson quotes.. :)
